Do I need to have previous experience in the industry to be a franchisee with 1-800-WATER DAMAGE™?

Prior experience in the cleaning or restoration industry is not required. However we do look for candidates that share our interest in providing quality products and outstanding service. Experience in marketing, management, customer service or sales will be helpful in operating your franchise but is not a necessity.


Is financing available?

 We can refer qualified candidates to lending sources for financing and leasing programs. We are also on the qualified Small Business Association (SBA) Franchise Registry. This allows franchisees expedited loan processing when applying for SBA financial assistance from approved SBA lenders.


How long is the training?

Our training is two weeks long. The first week is classroom instruction in administrative procedures, management systems, proven methods of operation, effective marketing techniques and our Intranet system. The second week consists of classroom and hands-on application of the methods and technologies used to dry saturated carpet, padding, sheet-rock and other wet structures.


Can I own and operate more than one Franchise?

Many of our franchisees are multiple franchise owners. They were allowed to do this by proving they were successful in their original franchise experience over time. We do not have major goals or other obstacles in the way of allowing you to purchase additional territories. Each territory is EXCLUSIVE and we do encourage and support multiple territory owners.
